Students of Deakin University visit both states, Nizwa and Al-HamraAs part of the cultural program for the Australian students, the Dhad Institute for TASOL organized a tourist trip to the states of Nizwa and Al-Hamra which was organized on Friday, 8/7/2018. The students started their journey and their destination to the state of Nizwa and through their visit to catch a glimpse of the traditional markets surrounded by the central market of the state where the students visited both the traditional and heritage markets such as the livestock market, and saw the market call or so-called sale of cattle. The sale of sheep and cattle are considered the most important markets in Nizwa. Then, they went to the vegetable market and knew the most important products and agricultural crops obtained from the villages near the market, after that the students went to the pottery and silver market, where they knew the most important pottery works which are manufactured by Omani hands.
