المتطلبات	: The Department of Foreign Languages, part of the College of Arts and Sciences, offers diploma and degree programs in English, French and German. It aims to: • Develop the linguistic proficiencies of its students • Foster linguistic analytical skills • Raise linguistic and cultural awareness and sensitivity • Promote literature and cultural appreciation • Prepare its graduates to be productive members of society in fields such as education, translation, interpretation, administration, diplomacy, and tourism. The English section of the Department of Foreign Languages offers a Diploma / BA in English and Translation, and (co-jointly with the Department of Education) a Diploma / BEd in English Education. It also responsible for teaching EAP courses to all university students (regardless of major). Moreover, it offers three MA majors; TESOL, Translation and Literature. We are currently recruiting applicants with the following profile: • PhD from an Anglophonic recognized university in Translation (Arabic-English /English-Arabic) • Experience in teaching at MA level students: translation technology, contrastive analysis • Experience in supervising MA thesis • Research track record and proof of an ongoing commitment to research activities (according to rank) • Higher Education teaching experience in a relevant specialism • Computer / Media literacy • Willingness to contribute to the academic development of the department You can apply to this job using below link “Apply for this position” or using the following email: cas-recruit@unizwa.edu.om
