DHAD Institute for Teaching Arabic to Speakers of Other Languages (DHAD Institute of TASOL) was established to provide Arabic courses to speakers of other languages, train teachers to learn Arabic as a second language, produce quality Arabic L2 teaching resources including audio-visual, electronic, printed, etc. and promote and encourage researches in the field of applied linguistics in general and Arabic applied linguistics in particular.
