Department of Financial Affairs
The Department of Financial Affairs processes the financial procedures for all University affiliates, including faculty, staff and students. The education process goes on the path set for it. The financial affairs achieve the goals planned by the University of Nizwa. The Department of Financial Affairs is one of the most important service departments in the University, as it is keen to provide all services that serve the educational process in the first place. The department works to ensure the smooth implementation of the university’s plans and goals, whether they are educational, research, or in the field of community service. It also works to ensure the accuracy and speed of completion in all transactions, whether the beneficiaries are inside or outside the University; thanks to a group of human cadres who have scientific and practical expertise.

Facilitating administrative and financial procedures for the faculty, staff, and students and their parents. Hence, the convoy of education goes in its track.
The Department of Financial Affairs facilitates the financial procedures for all University affiliates, including faculty, academic assistants, staff and students. The education convoy is proceeding in the path set for it, and the financial affairs achieve the goals planned by the University by carrying out the following functional duties:
• Financial planning.
• Protection, performance evaluation and control.
• Supporting the University administration in making decisions.

• Facilitating financial procedures in line with the University's policy.
• Providing financial services with honesty, ethics, integrity, transparency and compliance with financial legislations.
• Providing financial services to the students in an easy way that supports their academic plan.
• Work to access liquidity that can support the University's strategic plan and operational plan.
• Drafting a set of rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the financial policies and procedures at the University.
• Developing and improving the accounting and financial system.

• Section of Procurement, Payments and Contracts.
• Section of budgets (development funds) and Asset Management.
• Financial Follow-up Section.
