Department of Foreign Languages Hosts Online Workshop on Structural Equation Modeling for Researchers

The Department of Foreign Languages organized a workshop with the title: Structural Equation Modeling for Educational Researchers on 8 th of March 2026 from 1-2PM online.

The presenter was Dr. Hasan Khajavi, a post-doctoral researcher and associate professor from University of Graz, Austria. This workshop offered a gentle introduction to Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for educational researchers, covering key concepts and practical applications using JASP, a free, user-friendly statistical software. Participants learned how to test measurement models (confirmatory factor analysis) and structural models (structural equation modeling), interpret output, and report results for publication.
