How can I follow up on the financial statement in the Eduwave?

Dear student, you can follow up on the financial statement by reviewing the Student Accounts Section in the Department of Financial Affairs or entering directly through the (EduWave).

Note: The student can currently know the financial statement through the Eduwave (click here to view an animated illustration).

Can I get a copy of the financial statement?

Yes, you can get it from the Eduwave.

Can I review my financial file?

Yes, you can review your financial file from the previous semesters until the current semester through the Eduwave, or you submit an application via the e-mail financefollowup@unizwa.edu.om to the Follow-up section or through the Student Accounts and Collections section.

How can I pay my financial dues?

There are several ways to pay the dues, which are:

• Cash at the Department of Financial Affairs at the University's campus or at the University's office in Al-Khuwair.

• Payment through direct debit in the Eduwave (explanatory video is attached).

• (Cheques) issued in the name of the University and their due dates can be coordinated with the Department of Financial Affairs or Al Khuwair office in Muscat.

• Bank Muscat program, and in this this case you should send a copy of the deposit via email to financefollowup@unizwa.edu.om. 

Are there facilities in the payment method at the Department of Financial Affairs?

Yes, there are many facilities at the department. The student can pay 50% of the dues in advance before the start of the study, and there are easy installment plans in monthly or semester installments that are arranged with the Department of Financial Affairs.

I am a new student in the foundation year. Can you please inform me of the tuition fees?

Regarding the foundation year, the amount of tuition fees for the two semester is 2240 RO or 1120 RO for each semester. This does not include the dorm, transportation, insurance (refundable) services.

Is there a certain limit that is set when we register for each semester?

Yes, for students who pay monthly installments, they are required to pay the installments due. As for the semester installments, they must be paid before the date of registration. As for other students who do not have installment plans, they are required to pay all financial commitments.

Why should the students who are beneficiaries of the University housing service pay the insurance value?

When the student books the housing service in the dormitories of the University, he must pay an amount of 100 RO that is refundable in case he pays all the tuition fees in the graduation semester or in case of an official withdrawal. If he causes damage inside the housing, the amount is deducted from the insurance fees.

Why is the value of internal housing equal to the value of external housing and transportation together?

There are many advantages within the University campus, as the student can return to the housing unit after completing lectures without having to wait for buses. In addition, the restaurant and shop services are available inside the University campus.

Why is the housing cost calculated for the entire semester, whether the benefit is obtained for the whole period or part of it?

Because the housing cost is calculated per semester, not monthly. Therefore, a student should pay the whole amount when he books the housing service. The dorms of the University are owned by other people, and the University is required to pay monthly rent.

What is the mechanism used for the graduating student during the eviction process?

The graduating student must submit an electronic application through the Eduwave (graduating student clearance), then, the application goes through several stages, departments and colleges for final approval and payment of all dues until his application is financially approved.
