School of Nursing Student bagged 2nd Place in the First Innovative Business Idea Competition

 

Samah Abdullah Saleem Al Araimi, won second place in the First Innovative Business Idea Competition organized by the Center of Entrepreneurship & Business Incubation (CEBI) held virtually on 15th of December 2021 at Modern College of Business and Science, Muscat. She presented her business plan entitled “Life Saving Equipment Manufacturing” which is part of her requirement in the course MNGT100 Entrepreneurship: Innovation and Creativity.

Nursing Student’s Research Project won 2nd Place in Best Research Poster Award during the Second National Nursing Research Forum

 Ghadeer Nasser Saif Al Fahdi won 2nd Place in Best Research Poster Award for her research project entitled “Assessing Healthy Lifestyle Patterns of Adults Attending Fitness Centers in Nizwa, Oman: Basis for Community Health Education” during the 2nd National Nursing Research Forum organized by the Directorate of Nursing, DGHS-MOH Al Dakhliya, Governorate.   

SoN Student awarded as Best Research Paper in the International Conference on Recent Innovations in Science and Technology

 

Nursing student Sheika Mohammed Al-Mukhaini brought laurels to the School of Nursing when her research project was awarded Best Research Paper at the International Conference on Recent Innovations in Science and Technology held in Dubai, UAE on April 28, 2018. 

SoN Students won Silver Medal for their “Diabetic Device for the Elderly People with Special Needs” during the 10th International Invention Fair – Middle East in Kuwait.


Nursing students Asshar Said al Malki  and Ameera Said al Abri won Silver Medal for the “Diabetic Device for the Elderly and People with Special Needs” that they have designed at the 10th International Invention Fair—Middle East (IIFME) in Kuwait on January 28-31, 2018. Advancing further to a more notable opportunity, the same innovation won Gold Medal at the 46th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2018 held in Switzerland from 11th to 15th April 2018.

In another exhibition, Asshar Said al Malki  and Ameera Said al Abri also won Gold Medal for another innovation—glucometer device and a Silver Medal for their smart blood pressure device at the Korea International Women’s Invention Exposition last summer 2018 in Seoul, South Korea.

 

 

 

Nursing Student won Second Place in the 2018 Falling Walls Lab Conference in Germany

Nursing student Sara bint Saleem bin Salim al Batrani who won second place in the Falling Walls Lab Oman 2018 competition with her presentation entitled “Breaking the wall of Auto Cleaning System for Dirty Barn,” represented the Sultanate of Oman to the 2018 Falling Walls Lab Conference held in Berlin, Germany.
