School of Nursing Students Participated in the Covid-19 Vaccination Drive for Grade 12 Students in Al Dakhliya Governorate

To help fulfill the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) initiative to vaccinate General Education Diploma (GED) or Grade 12 students with COVID-19 vaccine, the Directorate General for Health Services (DGHS), Al Dakhliya Governorate has collaborated with the School of Nursing (SoN) of the University of Nizwa to take part in the said COVID-19 vaccination drive conducted on May 26 and May 27, 2021.

The senior students of the School of Nursing who were accompanied by their respective Clinical Instructors assisted in the preparation of vaccines as part of community service. These students were deployed in the following schools in Al Dakhliya Governorate namely Abu Obaidah School (Ghubrat), Hay Al Thurath Boys School (Hay Thurath), Banat Nizwa School (Nizwa), Al Ain School (Hay Al Ain), Malik Bin Faham School (Manah), and UnQais Al Asdyla School (Fanja).
