Mission:

The mission of the school of Rehabilitation and Medical Sciences is to educate students through a range of medical rehabilitation and medical sciences programs and equip them with professional values, evidence-based knowledge and skills, research and management aspects to be able to practice in clinical and different working environments to meet the constant health needs of people in Sultanate of Oman. 

Vision:

Aspires to be a center of excellence in Medical Rehabilitation and Medical science education in the Sultanate of Oman that will produce graduates equipped with wide spectrum of skills, knowledge and professional attitude.

Rehabilitation Sciences Programs Outcomes:

• Possess solid knowledge in one’s respective specialization.
• Consider the impact of solutions for problems in the economy, society, culture, and the environment.
• Provide creative, innovative, and effective solutions to problems.
• Acquire sufficient capabilities in the arts and sciences.
• Demonstrate awareness of one’s professional and ethical responsibilities.

The School of Rehabilitation and Medical Sciences consists of

Department of Medical Sciences and Department of Medical Rehabilitation Sciences. Under the Medical Rehabilitation Sciences are programs of Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT) and Speech and Language Pathology (SLP).
