SoN Conducts Nursing Professional Examination for Spring Semester 2023-2024

 The School of Nursing of the College of Health Sciences has conducted the Nursing Professional Examination (NPEx) for Spring Semester 2023-2024. The examination was administered to a total of four (4) graduating students, 1 Diploma in Nursing and 3 Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

The examination was comprised of three areas, the theoretical component assessing knowledge which was administered via a computer-aided approach, Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) which assesses the competence of students in clinical skills and the Oral Revalida which evaluates student’s ability to respond to a given clinical scenario applying critical thinking skills and clinical decision making. The examination was conducted on March 12, 2024. No external examiners were invited.
