As a part of Community Outreach activity at the College of Engineering and Architecture, Dr.Salam Kadhim AL Dawey and Dr.Said AL Maawali conducted a seminar on (Basic guidelines of scientific research and publishing) at Mohammed bin Jaafer School in Izki on Thursday 5^th December 2019.The targeted audience are school teachers.   The seminar outline and objectives are to give the teachers an awareness of the importance of research for individuals and for Oman, to introduce the efforts of TRC Oman on the field of research and available funds., to explain some research terms such as Impact factor, ISSN, etc. and to discuss the various types and levels of journals   At the end of the seminar ,the teachers appreciated this step by UoN and had raised good discussions about the topics and some of them said that they are willing to initiate their research pathway.
