College of Art and Science, Department of Mathematical and Physical Sciences (DMPS) organized a seminar entitled "WordPress as CMS with Open Source Tool for web content creation" on Thursday - 28 February 2019. The objective of this seminar was to provide an imprints about the Content Management System (CMS), CMS is a tool which helps in editing, publishing, modifying and controlling the content of the website.  

This presentation enlightens the various terms, features and technique like as CMS, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Web Hosting, Domain Name Server (DNS), XAMPP as Local Sever, XAMPP & WordPress installation process, Customize design and template.

This presentation also explored the structures and usage of the WordPress system like Dashboard, User Management, Theme, Plugins, Widget, Blogs and Comments, Publish with Ease, Responsive Site Development.

In addition, the seminar emphasized on various set of concepts likes customizability, stability, performance, security and much more benefit of WordPress. This seminar was Presented by Mr. Ravindra R Dharamshi.
