Based on Research council invitation, the University of Nizwa participated in the Renewal Energy workshop represented by Prof Dr.Hussein AL Abdulqader which is allocated at Research Council Centre / AL Kodh /Muscat  in 22^nd  January 2020. In this Workshop, around 14 experts has been participated from different Universities and colleges as well as different Industrial experts to discuss the proposed developments and modification in the Renewal Energy Strategies. Serval issues has been discussed in this Workshop which are:

·        The strategy of Renewal Energy Researches

·        The Financial Supports of Renewal Energy Researches.

·        How to activate The Renewal Energy Researches and its funds support at Sultanate of Oman as it will represent about 30% from the Energy production in Oman by 2030.

The meeting concluded with serval recommendations to strengthen the strategy of scientific research in the field of renewable energy and the proposal of some practical projects related to it.
