In order to link education with industrial reality, the faculty of designing and crafting jewelry at the Department of Education and Human Studies organized a scientific visit to the Atoms Lab company, which specializes in supplying and operating CNC machines.

The students learned about the latest technologies in the field and conducted some practical experiments on some of these machines.

A meeting was also held with Engineer Youmna Al-Sharji - CEO of the company, and during the meeting it was agreed to increase the bonds of cooperation between the university and the company by signing a (memorandum of understanding) whose terms will be defined in the future in order to achieve mutual benefit between the two parties.

The visit was coordinated by the designer, Dr. Magdi Khalifa, assistant professor of jewelry design and craftsmanship, and Dr. Khalifa Al-Qasabi, head of the Department of Education and Human Studies.
