Therefore, the Department of Arabic Language at the University of Nizwa chose to present the personality of the ancient Omani writer (Ahmed AlFalahi) . The choice of Ahmed Al-Falahi as the title of the university's celebration this year comes because he showed Omani literature through research and articles and he continued to achieve what this country need of knowledge and civilization by literature, thought and culture.

He added, "This annual celebration, which we celebrate today, is to confirm a goal that the University of Nizwa sought to achieve, which is to develop our pride in the constants, value and identity of our nation by proving the status of the Arabic language among its users and proud of our country's achievements"
