The College of Engineering and Architecture holds a coordination meeting with the Department of Tourism and Antiquities in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate

A meeting was held on Sunday, 01/21/2024, between the College of Engineering and Architecture, represented by the Dean of the College, the Dean’s Assistants, and a number of concerned faculty members, and a staff from the Department of Heritage and Tourism in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, represented by its General Director, the Assistant Director General, and the Research Officer in the Department, with coordination and attendance from Before the University of Nizwa Alumni Association, represented by the president of the association, methods of joint cooperation were discussed in the areas of consulting for tourism projects, as well as preserving and preserving archaeological sites in the Sultanate, especially the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, and plans for their maintenance and development.

A study was also conducted to develop comprehensive tourism plans and their connection to the Amman Museum over time, and it was also agreed to hold workshops to discuss future visions and challenges and to work on developing this cooperation between the university and the local community through a memorandum of understanding held between the two parties.
