I am an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the School of Nursing, College of Health Sciences, University of Nizwa, Nizwa, Oman. I hold a PhD in Pediatric Nursing from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. I have extensive academic experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students, as well as clinical experience in Pediatric Intensive Care Units (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU). My research interests include pediatric nursing, critical care nursing, maternal and child health, family nursing, family-centered care, and parental support during pediatric resuscitation. My research expertise includes qualitative and mixed-methods research, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses. My research has particularly focused on parental and healthcare professional experiences and perceptions during pediatric resuscitation, family-centered care in pediatric emergency settings, and professional ethics in nursing, and maternal and neonatal health. I have experience in international research collaboration with researchers and academics from the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and Brazil. My academic work has resulted in peer-reviewed publications and has contributed to the evidence base informing pediatric resuscitation and family-centered care. My research has also been cited in the 2025 AHA/AAP Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Guidelines and the 2025 European Resuscitation Council Guidelines on Ethics in Resuscitation. My academic interests are focused on advancing evidence-based pediatric nursing education and practice, strengthening family-centered care, and improving support for parents and families during critical pediatric events and resuscitation.
