    • Dr. Kamal Aldin Yousif is an Assistant Professor at the University of Nizwa, Oman. He has obtained his Master’s degree (MSc) and Ph.D.in Computer Science Dr. Kamal previously worked in many Sudanese universities and has a more than 20 years of experience in academic and administrative work, he was a former head of Information Technology Department and was a member of many councils and committees and supervised more than 300 graduation projects and scientific research in bachelor’s and master’s degrees and was an external examiner for a number of colleges Dr. Kamal ALdin has coauthored three academic books and contributed more than 8 research papers to several peer reviewed journals. He has a passion for research, reading, and writing, especially in his field (cybersecurity), where he authored and published a number of research papers, and constantly helps his students to innovate and complete research and scientific experiments. He has a number of papers and scientific projects in progress.He has attended numerous international conferences . Currently he is serving as researcher and Journal Reviewer member of several journals.

    • INFS309-Web Administration:، Comparing Web Server Platforms، This course provides an overview of what is required to build a Web site, including server administration, security, user interactivity and database integration. The students will plan a server, develop user and file security policies, design the server configuration, and understand the server interaction with search engines. The students will develop scripting programs that implement the appropriate business logic and interpret the user’s input in order to access the database, configure many server 2012 tools and services.
    • INFS408-Digital Forensics::، In this course students will learn digital forensics fundamentals, policies, procedures, and mechanisms. Identification and interpreting electronic data. Data models, concepts and mechanisms for software, hardware and operating systems. Host forensics, network forensics and media forensics. The processes of uncovering and interpreting electronic data. To generate and preserve evidences in its most original form while performing a structured investigation by collecting, identifying and validating the digital information for the purpose of reconstructing past events. In addition, the basics of physical security, incidence response, disaster recovery, business continuity, and forensics.
    • INFS103-Internet Technology:، This course introduces students to computers; internet applications; the WWW, telnet, FTP, hypertext, browsers and their configurations and the relevance of computer methods to data storage and retrieval, The course also enhances students` skills in the practical use of HTML & CSS languages to design and develop the website.
    • INFS308-Web Security Services::، This Course provides a comprehensive guide to security for Web Services fundamentalism and their contemporary security concerns in the web services design. It covers in details all recent standards that address Web service oriented (SOA) architectures and their involved techniques such as SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, URI, beside the security approaches such as XML Encryption, XML Signature, WS-Security, and WS-Secure Conversation, as well as access control for simple and conversation-based Web services, advanced digital identity management techniques, and access control for Web-based workflows. It explains how these implement means for identification, authentication, and authorization with respect to security aspects such as integrity, confidentiality, and availability.
    • INFS322-Web Application:، This lab will teach you a bit of interactive Web page programming. There are many ways to program interactive Web pages. We will look at just one: PHP. PHP is a serious programming language, with many features. It is a server-side Web programming language. It is most commonly used with Web forms. You fill out a form on the Web page. The information in the form is sent back to the Web server when you click the submit button. The sever runs a PHP program which examines the information and decides what kind of response to send. The PHP program actually writes a Web page containing the response. That page is sent back to your browser, and your browser displays the page. The Web browser, Web server, and PHP program work together to produce that response.، Summer 2022-2023
    • INFS205-Introduction to Computer Security:، The course provides students with the necessary knowledge of information security concepts in order to secure networks, design secure protocols, and manage security risks. There will be a lot of hands-on experience with networking tools.
    • INFS303-Data Structure and Algorithm:، This course discusses the basic techniques and issues in the design and analysis of efficient algorithms, and, implementation and manipulation of data structures. Topics to be studied include linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, graphs, storage management, hashing, internal and external searching and sorting. Applications to various areas of computer science will be discussed. Programs are written in the C++ language.
    • INFS304-Software Project Management:، This course is a survey course on the fundamental concepts and principles that underlies current and emerging methods, tools, and techniques for the cost-effective engineering of high-quality software systems. It is concerned with different aspects of the software development, from system specification to maintaining the system after it has gone into use. This includes technical processes of software development and the development of tools, methods, and theories to support software development. The course focuses on surveying some of the critical aspects of software engineering such as identifying appropriate design techniques, employing effective verification and validation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle, software maintenance, and software project management.
    • E-Business Strategy, Architecture and Design INFS201/L:، This course is focus on the linkage between organizational strategy and networked Information Technologies. The topics include: the purposes, functions, and structure of information systems in e-Commerce/E business, E-Business models, E-Business strategy, Technologies foundation system design for E-Business, and the development of E-Business.، Fall semester 2022-2023
