  • الدكتور محمد عيسى مسؤول عن الدراسات العليا بمكتب مساعد العميد للدراسات العليا والبحث العلمي. انضم إلى جامعة نزوى في أغسطس 2009. وهو أستاذ مشارك في قسم العلوم الرياضية والفيزيائية بكلية العلوم والآداب ، بجامعة نزوى ، سلطنة عمان. حصل على شهادة الدكتوراه. في علوم الحاسوب من معهد بوليتكنيك بكييف في عام 1992. مجالات اهتماماته البحثية تخص جودة الخدمة والتوجيه المتعدد، وخوارزميات التجميع والشبكات السلكية واللاسلكية، والشبكات المتنقلة المخصصة (MANETs) وشبكات المركبات المخصصة (VANET) والحوسبة السحابية (Cloud Computing)والإنترنت من الأشياء (IoT) والمدن الذكية. وهو مؤلف العديد من البحوث والكتب المنشورة.     • COMP455/L Compiler and Language Design، This course considers the techniques used to facilitate the construction of the compilers of different programming languages. It also addresses the issues involved in the design and implementation of different programming languages.، 2015 - Now
    • COMP355/L Fundamentals of Operating Systems، This course is a general introduction to the design and implementation of modern operating systems. The subjects to be covered include historical development of operating systems, processes, CPU scheduling, deadlocks, file system interface and file system implementation and memory management.
    • COMP310/L Special Topics in Computer Science، This course should cover state-of-the art problems and solutions in Computer Science. It is expected to present a hot topic in Computer Science (Internet-of-Things, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Data Mining, ...)
    • COMP344/L Software Engineering، This course introduces the concepts and techniques for Systems Engineering, requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing of large scale computer systems. It also discusses the principles of Software Engineering for the production of reliable, maintainable and portable software products. The course also emphasizes object-oriented analysis and design techniques.
    • COMP277/L Networks and Communications، This course introduces students to the concepts of computer networks, network architectures, and communication protocols. Other topics will include transmission media, network equipments, overview of Internet application protocols, and network addressing methods.
    • COMP151/L Introduction to Algorithms and Programming، This course is an introduction to algorithm development, their representation, design, and implementation as C++ programs. The main focus is on developing problem solving and acquiring critical thinking abilities. The topics that will be covered in this course will include: Program development , Data types, Expressions and Calculations, Input and Output,, Decision & Repetition, arrays and Functions.
    • COMP360/L Computer Modeling and Simulation، This course explains system modeling, simulation and discrete events simulation concepts. It introduces methods to generate random variables. The course highlights the most common statistical models and introduces queuing models, their descriptions and their applications. The course also introduces Monté Carlo Simulation to learn how to use it and how to make good decisions and estimations. The course presents some network models to learn how to apply them and how to use them thereafter to model some problems such as transportation and assign problems.
    • COMP322/L Concepts of Programming Languages، This course provides a discussion of issues in the design, implementation, and use of high-level programming languages. The course treats the technical issues such as names, bindings and scopes, expressions and assignment statements, statement level control structures, subprograms and their implementations, functional programming, logic programming and exception handling and event handling in some Programming Languages.
    • COMP466/L Societal Issues in Computing، This course introduces students to some fundamental concepts in Professional Communications, History of Computing, Social Context of Computing, Teamwork Concepts and Issues, Intellectual Property, Legal Issues in Computing, Organizational Context, Professional and Ethical Issues and Responsibility, Privacy and Civil Liberties.
    • COMP470/L Advanced Networks Topics، Advanced Networks Topics is a course that introduces students to some fundamental concepts in networking and wireless networks.
    • MATH222 Discrete Mathematics، This course is an introduction to discrete mathematics. It examines the foundation in logic and set theory, functions, relations, matrices and graph theory. Enhanced theory , practical exercises and lab works are delivered with algorithms, recursion algorithms, modular arithmetic (Euclidean Algorithm, Extended Euclidean Algorithm) and graph theory.
    • COMP350/L Numerical Methods for Computing، This course is an introduction to Numerical Methods for Computing. It examines the use of approximation methods to solve problem related to computational mathematics and basic numerical methods such that finding unique variable equation roots, system of linear algebraic equations and numerical integration.
    • COMP433/L The Unix Environment for Programming، This course is an introduction for students to the basic features of the UNIX. Topics that will be discussed include basic commands, file system, UNIX Shell, Filters, etc.، Spring 2013 - Now
