  • Dr. Elham (Ellie) F. Sharaki is an Assistant Professor of ELT and Literature with 27 years of teaching and teacher training experience since 1990.. She started her work at UoN in the Foundation Institute in 2014 and was transferred to the Department of Foreign Languages in 2015. Prior to this position, she was a faculty member at the University of Tehran, Iran. At tertiary level, she has taught Literature and ELT courses to students at BA, MA, and Ph.D. levels. At secondary level, she taught English to the lower secondary and upper secondary students in the Iranian high schools. She was also one of the members of Curriculum Development Center at the Ministry of Education in Iran responsible for developing new English school materials based on Communicative Language Teaching principles during 2011-14. Her teacher training experiences include assignments in Iran, Nepal, Kazakhstan, and Turkey. Dr.Sharaki has a BA in English Literature, an MA in English Literature, and a second MA and a PH.D. in TEFL. Her areas of interest and practice include Teacher Education, ESP, and Literature. She loves travelling for work and getting to know different cultures and languages.
