Ebru Eylem Geckil-Maroney has been working as an EFL instructor for 20 years. Before working at the University of Nizwa, she worked at Bahcesehir University for 4 years, and at Atilim University for 2 years in Turkey. She has been working at the University of Nizwa for 11 years. She received her BA degree from Anadolu University and an MA degree from Gazi University in English as a Foreign Language Teaching. She also has a DELTA diploma (Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages) from Cambridge University.
