    • Teaching Philosophy:Facilitate the students’ experiential learning in real practice settings to equip the students with the required professional skills and values that are essential to practice efficiently in the various pharmacy practice settings. It helps the students to connect the class room acquired knowledge to real world situations thereby enables them to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application in real-world settings. Students need to have adequate baseline knowledge to benefit from the active learning processes of applying, reflecting, sharing, and observing both in and out of the classroom. A Chinese Proverb states a learning philosophy: “Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand.” This can be achieved by actively engaging them in hands-on activities to develop their critical thinking and evidenced based problem-solving skills, and also to impart professionalism and interests for life-long learning to be competent pharmacists.
