Teaching Philosophy: Facilitate the students’ experiential learning to empower the students learn and to utilize the information in their professional lives. To enrich their learning process by making them to observe the activities done by a licensed practicing pharmacist and also to involve them in such activities under the strict supervision of a licensed practicing pharmacist in a community or hospital health care pharmacy setup. A Chinese Proverb states a learning philosophy: “Tell me and I will forget, show me and I may remember, involve me and I will understand.” Students need to have adequate baseline knowledge and also should benefit from the active learning processes of applying, reflecting, sharing, and observing both in and out of the classroom. This can be achieved by giving them real problems to solve, guide them, supervise them and help them to solve those problems if needed. All these efforts are done to develop their critical thinking and evidenced based problem-solving skills, and also to impart professionalism and interests for life-long learning to be competent pharmacists.
