Received Ph.D in Biological Sciences from the University of Lancaster in 2008. M.Phil in Biotechnology from National Institute for Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, Pakistan in 2003, M.Sc. in Biochemistry from Pir Mehr Ali Shah University of Arid Agriculture Rawalpindi in 2000 and B.Sc in Botany, Zoology and Chemistry from the University of Punjab in 1998. Her research interests are molecular plant microbe interactions, microbial and enzyme biotechnology and gene expression analysis involving OMICS.
