Rationale for introducing the program

The program is developed to address the increasing need for cybersecurity professionals by
keeping course content relevant to the industry, new technology and global cybersecurity trends.
Provides students with knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to maintain secure digital
infrastructure, organizational assets, and sensitive information, and to prepare for a career in

cybersecurity governance. It also encourages research and innovation in new fields like artificial

current teaching materials, hands-on learning experiences, and practical assessments, ensuring
