Before the debut of his career at the University of Nizwa in 2015, Soheil Atashian built extensive experience as an English language teacher and teacher trainer. Soheil Atashian is currently a lecturer and the Academic Advising Officer at the Department of Foreign Languages, the College of Arts & Sciences. His research interests include Pragmatics, Multicultural Competence, Blended Learning and ESL Education. He has presented his research at internationally renowned institutions, including Harvard University, University of Oxford, and the Australian National University. Soheil Atashian is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Linguistics, further advancing his academic and research expertise in the field.
