برنامج أكاديميّ مصمّم خصيصًا لتقديمه كبرنامج جديد يطرح في قسم اللّغة العربيّة بجامعة نزوى، وهو مكوّن من مسارين: مسار الدّراسات اللُّغويّة، ومسار الدّراسات الأدبيّة والنّقديّة. يتيح البرنامج الدراسة بنظامي التّفرّغ الكلّي أو الجزئي، ومجموع ساعاته (90) ساعة معتمدة؛ منها 30 ساعةً معتمدةً للمقرّرات الدّراسيّة؛ مقسّمة على: 21 ساعة للمقررات الإلزامية والمشتركة حسب المسار الذي يختاره كتخصّص دقيق (الدّراسات اللّغويّة، أو الدّراسات الأدبيّة والنّقديّة)، و9 ساعات للمقررات الاختياريّة. يقدّم الطالب مقترحًا بحثيًّا لأطروحة علميّة حسب المسار الذي يدرسه، ويكون تسجيل الأطروحة والبدء الفعلي في إعدادها بعد إكمال المقرّرات (في الفصل الرابع)، ويخصص لها (60 ساعة معتمدة). يشترط أن تقدّم الأطروحة مساهمة واضحة في مجال اللغة العربية وآدابها، كما يُشترط على الطالب نشر ورقة علميّة على الأقل، مستلّة من أطروحته، في مجلة دوليّة متخصصة ومحكّمة، أو الحصول على قبول نشر، وذلك قبل إقرار جاهزيّة أطروحته لإجراءات التّحكيم والمناقشة.
