Throughout the program, students would learn the principles of food sciences, food testing, food microbiology and intoxication, food risk management, food safety management tools, food regulations, and food inspection. نبذة عن البرنامج

برنامج أكاديميّ مصمّم خصيصًا لتقديمه كبرنامج جديد يطرح في قسم اللّغة العربيّة بجامعة نزوى، وهو مكوّن من مسارين: مسار الدّراسات اللُّغويّة، ومسار الدّراسات الأدبيّة والنّقديّة. يتيح البرنامج الدراسة بنظامي التّفرّغ الكلّي أو الجزئي، ومجموع ساعاته (90) ساعة معتمدة؛ منها 30 ساعةً معتمدةً للمقرّرات الدّراسيّة؛ مقسّمة على: 21 ساعة للمقررات الإلزامية والمشتركة حسب المسار الذي يختاره كتخصّص دقيق (الدّراسات اللّغويّة، أو الدّراسات الأدبيّة والنّقديّة)، و9 ساعات للمقررات الاختياريّة. يقدّم الطالب مقترحًا بحثيًّا لأطروحة علميّة حسب المسار الذي يدرسه، ويكون تسجيل الأطروحة والبدء الفعلي في إعدادها بعد إكمال المقرّرات (في الفصل الرابع)، ويخصص لها (60 ساعة معتمدة). يشترط أن تقدّم الأطروحة مساهمة واضحة في مجال اللغة العربية وآدابها، كما يُشترط على الطالب نشر ورقة علميّة على الأقل، مستلّة من أطروحته، في مجلة دوليّة متخصصة ومحكّمة، أو الحصول على قبول نشر، وذلك قبل إقرار جاهزيّة أطروحته لإجراءات التّحكيم والمناقشة.

شروط القبول

   الحصول على درجة الماجستير في اللغة العربية وآدابها من جامعة معترف بها من قبل وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والابتكار، بمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 3 نقاط من نظام قياسي يتكون من أربع نقاط أو ما يعادله بأي نظام آخر معتمد ومعادل في عمادة البحث العلمي والدراسات العليا ووزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي والابتكار.

   الحصول على درجة الماجستير بنظام الرِّسالة، ويمكن قبول طلاب نظام اختبار الكفاية الشامل في البرنامج شرط استيفائهم درجة 70٪ في اختبار تحريريّ يخضعون له.

شروط القبول

1. الحصول على درجة الماجستير أو ما يعادلها في إدارة الأعمال أو مجال تخصص ذي صلة من مؤسسة أكاديمية معترف بها وبمعدل تراكمي لا يقل عن 3.


2. في حال كان المعدل التراكمي للمترشح ما بين 2.75 و3 فإن قبوله في برنامج الدكتوراه يكون مشروطاً وعليه أن يخضع لمساقات تجسير محددة (مساقات استدراكية) على أن يحصل المترشح على معدل لا يقل عن ب في كل مساق استدراكي.


3. شهادة سارية المفعول في اختبار اللغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية (التوفل) لا تقل عن 530، أو نظام اختبار اللغة الإنجليزية الدولي (الأيلتس) لا يقل عن 6.0 أو ما يعادلها من أي اختبار دولي آخر معترف به لإجادة اللغة الإنجليزية.


4. يجب أن تكون شهادة اللغة الإنجليزية صالحة في موعد لا يتجاوز عامين (24 شهرًا) قبل تسجيل الطالب في البرنامج في الجامعة.


5. ثلاثة خطابات توصية، اثنان على الأقل من الأكاديميين يظهرون الكفاءة والاهتمام والقدرة البحثية للمترشح.

Admission Requirements

A. For Bachelor`s Degree Candidates

• A Bachelor`s degree in Pharmacy/Equivalent degree from a recognized university with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 grading scale


• Candidates must have the License to practice Pharmacy in Oman and PASS the Medical Fitness Examination


• Two years` work experience as a Hospital/Community Pharmacist is a must for candidates

B. For Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip) Candidates

• Applicants who can prove equivalency to the PG Dip.Clin.Pharm Program (of UoN) from any other recognized National or International University with a GPA ≥3.00 on a 4.0 grading scale will get direct eligibility to enter the M.Pharm Clinical Pharmacy - Research Track (6 Credit Hours for 1 year)


• Applicants who can prove equivalency to PG Dip.ClinPharm Program (of UoN) from any other recognized National or International University without a GPA of 3.00 (2.75 to 2.99) on a 4.0 grading scale will have to complete Remedial courses (Specialized Courses only) to get eligibility (GPA ≥3.00) to enter the M.Pharm Clinical Pharmacy - Research Track (6 Credit Hours for 1 year)


• Applicants with a PG Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy who are partially able to prove equivalency to PG Dip.ClinPharm Program, with a GPA ≥3.00, on a 4.0 grading scale will have to complete Remedial courses as decided by Master`s Program Curriculum Committee

C. English Proficiency and Other Requirements

• English proficiency testified with a minimum TOEFL score of 530 or IELTS level 6
